COP30 applications are open

The application is now open for Boston College faculty and students to join the University鈥檚 official delegation to COP30, the 30th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), taking place in Bel茅m, Brazil from November 10鈥�21, 2025. 男女操逼视频软件鈥檚 participation includes preparatory programming and serves as a platform to engage in climate-focused dialogue.

The selection committee seeks applicants with academic or professional interests in climate change, sustainability, and related social and health impacts. Diversity of disciplines and perspectives will also be considered. The application process includes two rounds: a short essay and CV/resume due May 18, followed by a second round of essays for selected candidates, due July 9.听Final decisions will be communicated around the end of August 2025.听

Beyond Oil: The Climate Costs of Fossil Wealth in the Middle East and Central Asia

Hanqin Tian, director of the Center for Earth System Science and Global Sustainability (CES3), is the corresponding author of the recently published article titled 鈥淕reenhouse Gas Budgets of Central and West Asia (2000鈥�2020): A Significant Net Source to the Atmosphere." The study produced the first comprehensive greenhouse gas assessment of 24 countries across the region.

Third annual Eagles Sustainability Competition

Interdisciplinary groups of students proposed ways to fill the gaps in 男女操逼视频软件鈥檚 sustainability culture, through the third annual Eagles Sustainability Competition. This year鈥檚 teams tailored their suggestions to the Office of Sustainability.

On February 21, representatives from the 男女操逼视频软件 COP29 delegation offered their impressions and lessons learned from the Baku, Azerbaijan event. The symposium featured a panel, a poster session, and a keynote speech by Esquire Henry, an internationally respected youth advocate.
