Josh Seim is broadly interested in the sociologies of work, medicine, welfare, punishment, and more. He also frequently writes about pedagogy and ethnographic methods.聽

His research has appeared in聽,听,听,听,听,听,听, and other outlets.聽

His first book,听, was released in 2020 by University of California Press.聽His second book,听, will be released by University of California Press in February 2026.聽
